About me
My name is Emirkan Akkurt, and I study cybersecurity at Copenhagen Business Academy. I started Akkurt.dk because many small businesses and associations have a website but nobody to keep an eye on its security.
I test thoroughly, and I explain what I find without making it more complicated than it needs to be. Once you have read the report, you should know what to do.

How I work
Written permission first
I do not start until the owner of the system has signed off on the test.
An agreed scope
We agree up front which addresses and features are included. I leave everything else alone.
Careful by default
I do not change data or disrupt your service. If something needs a harder test, we agree on it first.
Findings anyone can follow
Each finding is explained so you can follow it without a technical background, with concrete advice on what to fix.
What I look at
- Websites
- The site your customers see. For example outdated software, exposed admin pages and missing security settings.
- Web shops
- Login, customer accounts and orders. The places where customer data could leak or be changed.
- Web apps and APIs
- Systems with users. I check whether someone can see or change things they should not have access to.
- Email security
- Whether others can send emails that look like they come from your domain.
Why the name
Akkurt is my surname. In Danish it sounds like "akkurat", which means precise, and that is how I like to work.
In Turkish, "ak kurt" means white wolf. That is why the logo is a wolf head.
